Sick of back pain?

If you’re sick of going to the same doctor or therapist
and not getting any results, Kinesiology may be the
modality that works for you!

What is back pain costing you?

Besides the constant fees for appointments, medications and frustratingly trying yoga specific back stretches, back pain can really hold up living life to its fullest.

When it comes to patients who experience back pain, we see three things in addition to the bills that it seems to cost them:

1. Missing out on work.

Sometimes being in pain can cause us to lose focus and concentration because it’s just too painful to focus on anything else when the pain becomes excruciating. We can sometimes fall into that trap of just ‘getting by’ at work, instead of reaching our full potential. Low and behold before you know it, there are 20 somethings being promoted left right and centre even though you know that you have much more experience, and could use the pay rise.

2. Missing out with the kids.

Most parents find it difficult to keep up with kids generally, but throw back pain into the mix and it is a whole other ball game to try to stay in touch. If pushing your kids in the swings starts to throw your back into small spasms, you wouldn’t be alone.

Most people suffering from upper, middle and lower back pain don’t have the flexibility they need to spend time with their kids playing, running, jumping or in this case, pushing swings.

3. Missing out with the spouse.

Missing out on intimacy is probably the number 1 cause people with back pain pursue different modalities of treatment. When clients discuss what they want to achieve with their treatment,

being able to ‘go back to the way things were’ with their spouse is one of the core things we hear when it comes to being intimate.

Treating back pain with Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a practice that can heal back pain using a variety of body-detection techniques including muscle testing, dry needling, kinesiology taping and a variety of others.

Here at Energy Kinesiology we first determine where the cause of the back pain is coming from and treat it directly, rather than treat the symptom. Just treating the symptom itself will guarantee you keep experiencing back pain unless the root cause is managed effectively.

Through our Applied Kinesiology methodology, we treat Chronic Upper and Low back pain using a variety of techniques, but the following 3 are the most effective we have found when successfully treating back pain.

1. Dry needling

This form of alternative therapy is used to release tight muscle bands around the back areas that are experiencing pain. The needle is inserted into a ‘trigger’ point or hard “knots” within a muscle that can cause pain over a large area.

This practice is similar to acupuncture. The needles are incredibly thin and we work with you to make sure you don’t experience pain during the treatment.

2. Muscle Testing

We uncover if you are experiencing toxicities and vitamin deficiencies that contribute to the cause of your back pain by marrying the reaction of your muscles to vitamins and nutrients we test you for.

3. Cranial Sacral Therapy

This is a circulatory therapy, where we use gentle touch (like a soft massage) to restimulate fluid

throughout the central nervous system. This helps to ‘blast’ the pain as it is usually centred in one area and can become stagnant due to the lack of circulation to that particular area.

Case Study

Our clients usually come to us after they have exhausted every other means of treatment

they can imagine and are usually at a ‘last resort’. We have a 98% satisfaction rate with our clients from the transformations they have experienced through our unique application of kinesiology techniques.

Meet Michelle she had been experiencing chronic back pain and had been on painkillers for 8 months without feeling much of an improvement. When she went to see other doctors and therapists, she found the pain would subside for a few days, only to return with a vengeance. She was finding it difficult commuting to work, and standing and sitting at work was becoming excruciating.

After applying the Kinesiology Methodology, we uncovered the cause of her back pain. She had a spinal fault due to whiplash from a car accident over 20 years ago. From our muscle testing contributed to her pain.

After her second session and application of the Kinesiology Methodology, Michelle’s pain had reduced from 7/10 to 3/10, she had lost 4kgs from our gluten-free nutrition protocol and she was able to spend more time at work and with her family without pain.
